Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know if I need counselling? Many people seek counselling in Paisley when they feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or life transitions. If you find that your usual ways of coping are no longer working, or if you're struggling with persistent low mood, professional support can help. At Immrama Therapies, we offer a safe space to explore these feelings and help you find a clearer path forward.

2. What should I expect in a free intro call? Your initial intro call is an opportunity for us to meet online for 15 minutes and discuss what brings you to therapy. It is a no-pressure environment where we can explore your goals and see if my integrative approach is a good fit for your needs. We focus on finding out about confidentiality, payment, scheduling and more.

3. Is there parking near your Paisley office? Yes, Seomra Paisley is conveniently located at 31 High Street, which is easily accessible for those travelling from across Renfrewshire. There are several public parking options nearby, including the Storie Street car park and Weighhouse close Paisley parking. We are also just a short walk from Paisley Gilmour Street train station, making it easy to reach us by public transport.

4. How long does therapy usually last? The duration of counselling in Renfrewshire varies for every individual. Some clients find that short-term therapy (6–12 sessions) is enough to work through a specific issue/s, while others prefer longer-term support for deeper exploration. We will regularly review our progress together to ensure the pace and length of treatment feel right for you.

5. Do you offer support for clients outside of Paisley? Absolutely. While my main practice is based in Paisley, I provide support to individuals across the whole of Renfrewshire, including Renfrew, Johnstone, Erskine, and Linwood. Whether you are looking for in-person therapy in Paisley town centre or prefer the flexibility of online sessions, I am dedicated to providing accessible mental health support to our local community.
